🪛 Product Description

M10 nylon shoulder washers are designed for insulating and spacing larger diameter bolts in structural, mechanical, and industrial assemblies. Manufactured from durable PA66 nylon, they provide reliable electrical isolation while preventing direct metal-to-metal contact in high-load applications.

Also referred to as insulation bushes or top hat washers, the integrated shoulder section locates inside the mounting hole and isolates the full shank of the M10 bolt. This helps reduce vibration transfer, prevent surface damage, and minimise corrosion between dissimilar materials.

The M10 size is typically used in heavy equipment mounting, fabricated structures, machinery housings, and electrical installations where controlled spacing and non-conductive separation are required.

❓ FAQs

What are M10 nylon shoulder washers used for?
They are used to electrically isolate and space M10 bolts in machinery, structural assemblies, and industrial equipment.

Do these insulate the entire bolt?
Yes. The shoulder section isolates the fastener shaft inside the mounting hole.

Are these suitable for heavy equipment mounting?
They are suitable where electrical isolation or separation between materials is required. Load suitability depends on the specific application.

What is a top hat washer?
A top hat washer is another name for a shoulder washer, referring to the raised collar design that fits inside the hole.
