What size decking screws should i use in the UK? General rule of thumb for screws is 2/3's of the screw in the frame. So for 18mm deck boards you would need a minimum 54mm screw so 50mm or 60mm deck screws should be sufficient. For 25mm or 28mm boards you will require 70mm-80mm screws to ensure a strong and secure fixing.
